Woodhill Meadow is a diverse nature garden featuring woodland areas and open glades, located adjacent to the Margrove Heritage Centre. This reserve serves as an outdoor teaching space, providing a magical environment for children to explore and learn about wildlife. Visitors can enjoy winding grass paths, willow tunnels, and ponds, while free parking is available nearby. The paths are unsurfaced and can be muddy, so caution is advised during wet conditions. Wildlife enthusiasts can look out for Red Grouse, particularly in January around midday, and Grey Squirrels, which peak in February. Other notable species include the Barn Owl in October and various plants like Dog's Mercury and Adder, both peaking in March. The reserve offers a unique opportunity to observe wildlife throughout the year, with each season bringing its own highlights.
