Seaford Head Nature Reserve, part of the South Downs National Park, offers stunning views of the iconic Seven Sisters cliffs and the Cuckmere Valley. This Local Nature Reserve (LNR) is managed by the Sussex Wildlife Trust in partnership with Seaford Town Council and features significant biological and geological features. It is designated as part of the Seaford Head to Beachy Head Site of Special Scientific Interest and falls within the Beachy Head West Marine Conservation Zone, making it a vital area for conservation. Wildlife enthusiasts can expect to see a variety of species throughout the year, with notable sightings including the Long-billed Dowitcher and Northern Fulmar peaking in January, particularly around 14:00. November is an excellent time to observe Rock Pipits and Pied Wheatears, while August offers opportunities to spot Meadow Browns and Common Nightingales at dawn. The diverse habitats support a range of flora and fauna, making Seaford Head a rewarding destination for nature lovers.
