Norrad Rocks, located west of Bryher and Samson in the Isles of Scilly, consists of several small uninhabited islands and rocky outcrops. This area is designated as a seabird sanctuary, providing critical breeding habitats for various species, including the largest colony of cormorants and puffins in Scilly. The islands are exposed to the Atlantic elements, making them accessible only by boat, with wildlife safaris available during the summer season to explore this unique environment. October is the prime month for wildlife observation at Norrad Rocks, particularly at dusk around 17:00, when you may see Cory's Shearwater, European Shag, and Manx Shearwater. Other notable sightings include Northern Gannet and Barnacle Goose, both peaking in October as well. For those interested in seabirds, this is an ideal time to visit, with a chance to spot various species while enjoying the stunning coastal scenery.
