Home of the iconic Rutland Ospreys, Lyndon Visitor Centre lies on the south shore of the reservoir. Enjoy hearing the stories of the Rutland Ospreys in the centre (complete with facilities, refreshments and a shop), then enjoy a walk through the meadows, stopping off at a hide or two on the way, to Manton Bay – and see our nesting ospreys for yourself. Rutland Water Nature Reserve is an internationally recognised Site of Special Scientific interest (SSSI), Special Protection Area (SPA) and a Ramsar Wetland of International Importance.
