Visitors to Mousa can expect to see a variety of species, particularly during spring and summer when the island is bustling with breeding birds like Black Guillemots and Arctic Terns. Notable sightings include Northern Fulmars and Great Northern Divers, with peak activity in January around 13:00. The Mousa Ferry operates from April to September, providing access to this wild sanctuary, though visitors should prepare for a lack of facilities and consider bringing a picnic.
