This site is one of the last remaining wild daffodil meadows in the area. It is rich in other spring flowers and has diverse mature hedges and a small pond. Seasonally grazed by a small flock of sheep in order to maintain the meadow and ensure the survival of the daffodil population, the reserve boasts a handful of woodland flowers such as bluebell and lesser celandine. Other typical meadowplants include pignut and cowslip, with coarser nettle, thistle and bracken attracting numerous insects.
