Sadly this broadleaved woodland is badly affected by ash die back. This means that the ash trees are not in good health, they and their limbs are prone to failing and falling. The seasonal footpath, normally open in spring, will remain closed. We have carried out tree works to make the public right of way from the road to the fields towards Holcombe safer, so please stick to the footpath and don’t visit in high winds.
