Cross Hill Quarry Local Nature Reserve, located in the scenic Ribble Valley, is a vibrant habitat that has transformed from a former quarry into a flourishing refuge for wildlife. As dusk falls, the reserve comes alive with bats, including pipistrelle and noctule, hunting along the woodland edges.
