Coed Crafnant Nature Reserve is a remarkable ancient Atlantic oak woodland located in a steep, terraced valley in Wales. The reserve is actively managed to promote natural regeneration and maintain its unique habitats, making it a vital area for conservation. Visitors can expect to see a variety of primitive plants, particularly during February when species like Prickly Featherwort and Rock Fingerwort peak in observations. The reserve is also home to nesting birds, including the pied flycatcher, which is best spotted in May.
