Camley Street Natural Park is an urban nature reserve located in St Pancras, central London, within the London Borough of Camden. Established in 1985, this local nature reserve features diverse habitats, including woodland, grassland, and wetland areas with ponds and reedbeds. The park, which was once a coal drop for the railways, now serves as a vital green space, offering accessible paths and a visitor centre that welcomes thousands each year. Wildlife enthusiasts can expect to see a variety of species, particularly in September when activity peaks for Eurasian Coots and Starlings around 01:00. Other notable sightings include Grey Herons in January and Woodpigeons in December, with the best viewing times for these species occurring at night. The park is a great spot for birdwatching throughout the year, with each season bringing its own highlights.
