Blenheim Farm is a tranquil community nature reserve located just outside Charlbury in Oxfordshire. Spanning 1 hectare, it features a charming meadow surrounded by ancient hedgerows and scrubby woodland, making it an ideal spot for walking and wildlife observation. The reserve is managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust, with local volunteers contributing to its upkeep and ensuring its ecological health. Visitors to Blenheim Farm can look forward to spotting a variety of wildlife, particularly during the summer months. August is the best time for butterfly enthusiasts, with species like the Meadow Brown and Large White peaking in activity. Additionally, songbirds such as the Wren can be observed in April, while unique insects like the Lesser Marsh Grasshopper and Hairy Shieldbug are notable in September. Early morning visits around 1:00 AM may yield the best chances for sightings.
