Bellever Moor and Meadows is a 70-hectare nature reserve located in Devon, offering a diverse landscape of moorland and meadows. This area is part of a popular walking route and features a network of paths for exploration. The reserve is currently managing the impact of ash dieback, with tree felling occurring in winter months to ensure safety while maintaining habitats for wildlife. Wildlife enthusiasts can look forward to spotting species such as the Red Crossbill, which peaks in January around 14:00, and the Common Redstart, best observed at dusk in June. Other notable sightings include the Common Sandpiper and Stock Dove in October, both peaking at dusk. For those interested in winter visits, the Great Spotted Woodpecker is active in December, while the Merlin can be seen in February, particularly around 15:00.
