Ayres Nature Discovery Centre is part of the Ayres National Nature Reserve (NNR) and Area of Special Scientific Interest (ASSI), located on the Isle of Man. Visitors can explore the site via grass paths and a Nature Trail, with facilities such as a viewing platform and Nature Discovery rucksacks available for families. Wildlife enthusiasts can look forward to observing a variety of species, particularly in May when activity peaks. Notable sightings include Choughs, Wigeons, and Little Terns, all best viewed around 1:00 AM. Other year-round residents like the Great Black-backed Gull and Oystercatcher can also be spotted, making this reserve a vibrant location for birdwatching and appreciating the local flora and fauna.
