Collyweston Great Wood & Easton Hornstocks National Nature Reserve

Collyweston Great Wood and Easton Hornstocks is a 151.5-hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest located north of King's Cliffe in Northamptonshire. This National Nature Reserve, designated as a Nature Conservation Review site of Grade I, features diverse habitats and is situated 14 kilometres west of Peterborough, with the nearest villages being Collyweston and Duddington, both approximately 1 kilometre away. Wildlife enthusiasts can look for Ramsons and Wild Cherry, both peaking in May, with optimal observation times around 01:00. The Brown Long-eared Bat is also present, with sightings peaking in February at midnight. Visiting during these peak times can enhance your chances of spotting these species in their natural habitat.
