Visitors to Keltneyburn can look forward to spotting species like the Dunnock and Blackcap, with peak activity in April and May around 01:00. Additionally, the reserve is home to the Brown Hare and Badger, both most active in May. For those interested in plant life, the Common Rock-rose can be observed in July, adding to the reserve's seasonal highlights.
