The Falls of Clyde, located near the historic village of New Lanark, Scotland, is renowned for its breathtaking waterfalls and scenic woodland walks. This picturesque area features a series of four waterfalls on the River Clyde, with Corra Linn being the highest and most impressive at 84 feet. The reserve is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), attracting visitors for both its natural beauty and rich biodiversity. Wildlife enthusiasts can look out for various species throughout the year, with peak sightings occurring in June. Notable species include the White-throated Dipper and Great Spotted Woodpecker, both best observed around 3 PM. Other highlights include Grey Squirrels peaking in October and Moorhens in February, making the Falls of Clyde a vibrant spot for nature lovers across the seasons.
