Bo’mains Meadow features two distinct meadows: the northern meadow, a former reservoir that has been filled in, and the southern meadow, which has remained undisturbed for many years, showcasing a rich diversity of unimproved flora. This tranquil reserve is an excellent example of natural habitat restoration, providing a vital space for wildlife in the area. Visitors can expect to see a variety of species, with notable sightings including Grey Squirrels peaking in December and various waterfowl such as Mallards and Black-headed Gulls peaking in February. The best time for birdwatching is around midnight during this peak month, while other highlights include the White Stork in April and the Common Buzzard in December.
