Bishops Wood Local Nature Reserve

Bishop's Wood is a picturesque nature reserve located in the Gower Peninsula of south Wales, encompassing 46 acres of limestone woodland and grassland. This area features ancient woodland, with a history of being wooded since at least the seventeenth century. Designated as a Local Nature Reserve in 1975, it received further recognition as a Site of Special Scientific Interest in 2003 and a Special Area of Conservation in 2004, highlighting its ecological significance.
