Surlingham Church Marsh is a small RSPB nature reserve located in the Norfolk Broads, England. Covering 68 acres, it features a diverse mix of wetland habitats including reedbeds, fens, and shallow pools, making it a prime spot for birdwatching. The reserve is part of the Yare Broads and Marshes Site of Special Scientific Interest and is easily accessible via a circular footpath that begins at Surlingham Church. Wildlife enthusiasts can expect to see a variety of species throughout the year, with peak activity in September. Notable sightings include Gadwall and Cetti's Warbler in April, while Marsh Tits and Red Admirals are best observed in October and September, respectively. The reserve's rich biodiversity also includes Marsh Harriers and a range of butterflies, making it an excellent destination for nature lovers during spring and summer.
