South Stack is a stunning nature reserve located on the northwest coast of Anglesey, Wales, where rolling heathland and farmland meet dramatic sea cliffs. This area is renowned for its breathtaking views from Ellin’s Tower, a Victorian structure resembling a castle, and serves as a vital breeding ground for seabirds such as Guillemots, Razorbills, and Puffins during the spring months. The cliffs are also home to the rare Red-billed Chough, which can be spotted year-round. Wildlife enthusiasts can look forward to observing a variety of seabirds, particularly in spring and early summer. The best times to visit for peak sightings include April for Choughs around 16:00, May for Razorbills and Kittiwakes around midday, and June for Puffins and Common Murres, also around noon. July offers opportunities to see Rock Pipits and Northern Gannets, with optimal viewing times around 16:00 and 13:00, respectively.
