February is particularly rewarding, with peak sightings of Northern Lapwings, Grey Herons, and Carrion Crows, often best observed around midnight. As spring arrives, look for nesting warblers and Reed Buntings, while summer brings Lapwing chicks and a flurry of bees and butterflies. Autumn and winter offer opportunities to spot thrushes feasting on berries and waders foraging in the lakes, making Sandwell Valley a year-round destination for nature lovers.
