Pulborough Brooks is a 160-hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest located in West Sussex, managed by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. This nature reserve features a diverse landscape of wildflower meadows, pools, and restored heathland, making it part of the Arun Valley Ramsar site and Special Area of Conservation. With stunning views of the South Downs, it offers family-friendly trails and a café, perfect for a day out in nature. Wildlife enthusiasts can look forward to a variety of species throughout the year. January is particularly lively, with sightings of the White-tailed Eagle peaking around 15:00, while the Nightingale can be heard at dusk in June. Summer brings dragonflies to the ponds, and visitors may spot the Eurasian Wigeon at dusk. For a unique experience, join a night-time safari in June and July to hear Nightjars and see bats in action.
