Visitors can expect to see a range of bird species, particularly in June when activity peaks. Look out for Red Grouse and Stonechat during the evenings, and keep an ear out for the calls of Red-throated Divers and Twites. Notable sightings include Short-eared Owls around 2 PM and Great Skuas around 1 AM. The reserve is a vibrant spot for birdwatching, especially during the summer months when the wildlife is most active.
