Frampton Marsh is a stunning nature reserve located in Lincolnshire, England, along the coast of The Wash, the UK’s most significant estuary for birds. Covering a variety of habitats including freshwater wetlands, reedbeds, and wet grasslands, the reserve is primarily managed by the RSPB and features a visitor centre with a café. This diverse landscape offers excellent opportunities for wildlife observation throughout the year. Wildlife enthusiasts can expect to see a range of species, with peak activity in August when birds such as the Whooper Swan and Northern Pintail are most abundant. Notable sightings include the Lesser Yellowlegs in March and the Little Stint in October, both best observed around midday. The reserve is also home to the Pied Avocet, which can be spotted at dusk during the summer months, making Frampton Marsh a prime destination for birdwatchers year-round.
