Beckingham Marshes is a vibrant wet grassland and hay meadow reserve located in the Trent Valley. This area is actively managed in collaboration with a local grazier and the Environment Agency to restore wetland wildlife habitats. The reserve is notable for its diverse ecosystems, which support breeding wading birds like Lapwings and Redshanks, as well as Skylarks, dragonflies, damselflies, and various aquatic plants.
