The Isle of May National Nature Reserve, located in the Firth of Forth, is a crucial sanctuary for seabirds and seals. For birdwatching, July is the peak month, with notable sightings of rock pipits and shags. Early morning and dusk are ideal times for spotting many species, especially puffins and razorbills.
