Creag Meagaidh National Nature Reserve (NNR) offers a diverse mountain experience, featuring a range of habitats from wild plateaus to regenerating woodlands. Wildlife enthusiasts can look forward to spotting species like golden eagles and red deer, with notable bird sightings including the Eurasian Blue Tit and Tree Pipit peaking in April and July, respectively. The best times for observation vary, with early morning being ideal for Tree Pipits and Rock Ptarmigan in January. July is particularly vibrant, showcasing a range of species such as Willow Warblers and Lesser Redpolls, making it an excellent month for wildlife watching.
