The East Coast Nature Reserve, covering 92 hectares, is the largest reserve in the region and part of the Murrough Wetlands, designated as a Special Protection Area and Special Area of Conservation. Wildlife sightings data is currently sparse, but the reserve is home to a variety of species that can be observed throughout the year.
